I found this picture of my dad participating in an operation to roundup a drug ring in Mobile, AL. He’s the one on the far right, closest to the viewer.


Perhaps it’s more interesting to me than to anyone else to see my dad walking the same streets I do near work— except he’s doing it thirty years ago and picking up drug dealers.


I decided not to try to touch up the photo any. I just scanned it in and left the character it had acquired in its journey to my hands. The photo was taken by a Mobile Press Register staff photographer, presumably for an article. I wonder the the article had to say?


Has anyone else recently found some old family photos? My mom recently started a project to scan in old slides from when she lived in Europe as a teen. Maybe I should post some of those.
